Play Area: Kids' PlayTowne & Kids' KarTowne
Stratford has two play areas. Kids' PlayTowne is located in the Macy's wing and Kids' KarTowne is located in the Carson's wing. The PlayTowne is a historical Bloomingdale themed children's play area including a cherry blossom tree/slide, little red schoolhouse, Pages (the Bloomingdale Public Library's mascot), a police car, fire dog and more. The KarTowne includes a Bloomingdale townscape with three specific Chevrolet vehicles that provide climbing and sliding opportunities. Also included is a tree/slide, raft, toad, lady bug and butterfly for little ones. The play areas are specifically designed for kids 42" and under.
The mall also features a Center Court Dancing Fountain and several coin-operated kiddie rides.
Family Restrooms
The family restrooms are located on the lower level near Sears, along with a Mother's Room.
Stroller Rental
Single strollers are available for rent on the lower level near Carson Pirie Scott, close to Kids' KarTowne. Double strollers are on the lower level near the food court and Center Court Dancing Fountain, alongside the escalator.
Family Events
Family Fun Night takes place at 6 p.m. on the 3rd Friday of every month. A list of other family events can be found here.
