McDonald's PlayPlace

One indoor playground option is the McDonald's PlayPlace. Like the play areas at the malls, it is a cheap indoor alternative. However, many of the McDonald's PlayPlaces are for older toddlers and kids. (My son really started enjoying them when he was two and a half.)

Some McDonald's PlayPlaces have a "toddler area" with soft animals you can climb on (similar to the malls) and learning cube activites. These areas are usually restricted to toddlers only and are much better for the very young.

The McDonald's restaurant locator shows which locations have a PlayPlace. You can access it here: http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/rest_locator.html

It does not indicate which locations have designated toddler areas.

If you've had a good (or bad) experience at an area McDonald's PlayPlace, please let other parents know about it by leaving your comments here.
