California Baby -- Product Review 

If you have a newborn or a sensitive child, one product line you may want to try is California Baby. When my son was younger, his skin reacted to most baby products. He even had a problem with products that were naturally scented. California Baby’s Super Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash (along its super sensitive lotion) quickly became one of our favorite products, because it is organic, completely fragrance free and very gentle for those with sensitive skin.

As my son grew older, I tried some of the company’s other products, including its all-natural bug repellant and sunblock. We have loved everything we’ve tried. I’ve found I have to re-apply the bug repellant every 45 minutes or so, but it has been a life-saver during our outdoor adventures! The calendula cream, which is reported to help with eczema, also has worked well on a few of our recent mystery rashes. (If your child is sensitive to scents, please note the calendula cream is naturally scented with lavender.)

With summer just beginning, I wanted to mention another organic sunscreen that a friend of mine recently recommended. It’s called Badger Sunscreen. I was told it absorbs better than the California Baby sunblock, so I can’t wait to try it.
